Works great in cold temps!
My wife got me one of these as a Christmas gift. It definitely helps maintain temp in cold weather. Its been between 34 and 45 degrees out while smoking this morning. I have the Traeger set on 300 and it has stayed between 298 and 306 all morning. Our ribs are done in the normal time of 2-3 hours!

I have been happy with the quality of this brands products up until now. This product is designed for each specific grill, but yet has a very obvious weak point. The straps that hold the insulated blanket in place melt, rendering the product useless. Reaching out to customer support will not resol...

I constantly feel like Traeger is upselling customers. When I bought my MESA, they never told me that it won't work well in cold temps (under 50F).

Easy to install, the insulation blanket definitely kept the temperature more constant and most-likely cut down on the pellets used when I smoked a pork butt with the average ambient outside temperature was 25 degrees! Glad I got this for sure!!

Do not buy, I'm the guy who forced them to put the temperature range in a number of years ago. Inner surface stuck to the barrel forcing me to purchase a new barrel. They are no help!
