"The Holy Grail of Grills and Smokers!!!"

Over the last 2 years, I have purchased and own 3 Pellet Smokers with a Broil King Regal Pellet 625, a Traeger Silverton 810 and now a Traeger Timberline XL. The Broil King was very basic, very simple and traditional in style, shape and performance compared to the Traeger Silverton 810, but it di...d offer a larger and easier to read LED Control Panel and it also reached temperatures over 600 degrees Fahrenheit for Reverse Searing any meat. The Traeger Silverton 810 is very sophisticated in both design, performance and use of the Traeger App compared to the Broil King and it was much easier for cleaning, but it still lacked the larger LED Screen and it only cooked to 500 Fahrenheit and the Aluminum Internal Sidewalls were extremely difficult to clean, especially after a very long 18 hour or longer smoking of any meat. But now Traeger has literally "Shook and Changed the Grilling and Smoking of Meats World" with the Totally Re-Designed, Very Sophisticated, Very Detailed and definitely The Most Advanced Pellet Smoker that any person can ever own with The Brand New Traeger Timberline XL!!! This Unit boasts an Amazing and Very Technologically Advanced New and Easy to Read Control Panel. All of the Entire Internal Components are now all 304 Grade Stainless Steel, which clean so much easier and also offers resistance to rusting and corrosion. The New and Improved Air Circulation and Fan Downdraft offers Insanely Even Temperatures even on all 1,300 square inches of 3 cooking levels and the "Super Smoke Option" performs in My personal opinion… about Twice as Much Smoke as My Traeger Silverton 810, which Out-Smokes My Broil King!!! The Totally Re-Designed Ash and Grease Collection has been Significantly Simplified and Improved with the New "Ash and and Grease Bucket that snaps into place and pops out at the press of a button! I am a Welder and Mechanic by Trade and I am an Extremely Fussy and Meticulous kind of guy, who can Truly Appreciate the Amazing New Style, Level of Finish and the "Metal Artwork Detailing" that Traeger decided to include on The Traeger Timberline XL!!! The Traeger App works flawlessly on My Cellphone and pairing up the "Traeger Wi-Fire Technology" to My Satellite Internet in a rural area was a Breeze as well. The Add On Accessories of the Huge Folding Front Cook Shelf, Spice and Condiments Holder and the Wrapping Paper Rack are all great touches and the "PAL" Pop and Lock System allows quick and easy installation of any accessories to the Accessory Bar on the Front and Sides of the Pellet Smoker. The Cover for the Traeger Timberline XL is Very Well Constructed with High Quality and Fits like a Glove, but yet is very easy to cover up and remove. So far as of October 22nd, 2022…. I have performed 2 very special cooks that include Smoking and Roasting a 15 Pound Turkey and Reverse Searing 2 very nice and thick 1.5 Pound Rib Steaks. The Turkey was Smoked at 180 Degrees Fahrenheit for about 4 and 1/2 hours on a shallow baking pan, until the Internal Temperature reached 110 Degrees Fahrenheit. Then the Cavity of the Turkey was filled with Stuffing and put into an open Roasting Pan to Roast at 350 Degrees Fahrenheit and it was finished off with the Roasting Pan Lid On. What I soon realized when the lid was on, is that both of the Traeger Wireless Meat Probes had worked both "Flawlessly and Accurately" even when the Roasting Pan Lid was On!!! As for the 2 Steaks, the Steaks were Smoked "Low and Slow" at about 185 Degrees Fahrenheit for an Internal Temperature of about 120 Degrees Fahrenheit. Once the Internal Temperature was obtained, I then finished off the Steaks with a "Reverse Sear" on the Incredible Induction Burner, using My "Le Creuset" Cast Iron, Shallow and Ribbed Grilling Pan. Because the Pan is Cast Iron and Smooth Finished, it worked perfectly for the "Reverse Sear" with the Dial Set at "10 or Maximum Heat" with the Cooking Time of about 1.5 minutes per side for the Perfect Target of 125 to 130 Degrees Fahrenheit Internal Temperature! My 1st Clean-Out was after about 10 hours of total cooking time, with the ash being all captured in the Lower Ash Pit Cavity and about 1/4 inch thick of ash. And now for My "Final Comments and Review"…. Is this Traeger Timberline for Everyone? Well I cannot answer for everyone, but I can assure You from My Personal Point of View, that "One cannot find a Better Built, More Advanced, As Finely Details and as Perfectly Performing and as Simple to Use" Pellet Smoker as this Phenomenal Traeger Timberline XL Pellet Smoker!!!
