Amazing Grill
I can't say enough about how great this grill is. Unfortunately this review will get lost among all the other 100+ 5-Star reviews, but I have to add my opinion because this grill is so great. I am an above novice griller. I'll give an example of what this grill does for me: Our family is a well-d...

Ok Grill - Poor Customer Service
My Traeger Pro 34 Pellet Grill air temps have consistently ran ~20-30 degrees below the Control Dial Set Temperature since I started using it last year. The read out on the Traeger Control reads 20-30 degrees above the actual air temperature of the grill. If I want the grill to run slightly below ...

Do not waste your time. Horrible heat retention. Horrible customer service that says a swing up or down of 50 degrees is normal. They will not help WHEN, not IF you have problems with it
Love it!
Super easy to put it together and works amazing for first time smoker.
What a great gift!
Love it! Been trying different recipes and haven't been disappointed.
Works easily and perfect every time !!!!
My daughter and her husband also 3 grandkids gave me the Treager 34 for Christmas. It's the only way to cook a brisket for New Years !!!!
Stay away
I received this grill as a wedding present 6 months ago brand new and I'm sure glad I didn't waste my own money on it. It's been broken from the start and I wish I'd realized it sooner. The amount of food that's had to been salvaged off of it is truly amazing. Was so excited to try smoking things and being able to cook differently and now I dread using it. The only way you can use it is putting the temp on high for steaks or burgers. And it only work for a half hour then the temp starts dropping for no reason. I hate it. You have to constantly babysit it and the smoke option doesn't work at all. Like I said glad it wasn't my money. But still a waste. Should quit selling them. They have plenty of other options to choose from. Hopefully they're better than this hunk of junk.
IT IS A GREAT SMOKER,
I BOUGHT THIS ABOUT 6 MONTHS AGO AND IT HAS WORKED GREAT. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.
Disappointed and frustrated.
I am writing to express my disappointment with the Traeger grill I purchased, which has unfortunately been a source of ongoing frustration and dissatisfaction. Given Traeger's reputation for quality, I expected a reliable and enjoyable product. However, my experience has been quite the opposite, with issue after issue since I made my purchase. Since bringing the grill home, I have encountered several persistent problems, including [mention specific issues here, e.g., "temperature control fluctuations," "ignition failures," "inconsistent pellet feeding," etc.]. Despite troubleshooting and following recommended maintenance steps, these issues continue to disrupt my experience, making the product unreliable and difficult to enjoy. This is especially disappointing given the considerable investment I made, expecting a premium product. I find it frustrating that I have to spend so much time troubleshooting instead of being able to use the grill as intended. I had hoped that Traeger's reputation for high-quality and dependable products would be reflected in my purchase, but that has not been the case.
Slow cooker… really slow cooker.
I have had this grill for 1 year. The temperature never regulates. It is always 50-75 degrees below the desired temperature. So always add 30-45 minutes in for cooking! The meat is delicious when it comes off because it has been extra slow cooked…. They design requires disassembly every 2-3 cooks ( not smokes). Been in touch with customer service multiple times, and the fixes have not worked.
One Traeger isn't enough!
My wife bought my first Traeger, three years ago as my Christmas gift. I was instantly inspired! My wife had an ulterior motive of no longer having to cook. We have a second home 1100 miles away, and we didn't have room in my truck for it, so the first stop after unloading the truck, was to go purchase another Traeger! Highly Recommend.

Gives me PTSD every time I use it.
This grill has given me PTSD every time I try to smoke now. From day one this thing blew up on me several times. Now whenever I start this thing up I'm not sure if it's going to work or blow up. When it happened I got on with customer support (who gave me useless, scripted answers) and basically ended up giving up on any resolution. I don't want to spend my day trying to fix this defective product. I make sure to clean the grill and vacuum the ash out before every use. It has become a chore to even use this junk. I use Traeger pellets but that doesn't affect the problem. I even have a special container I keep the pellets in with a basket to shake the dust off. If it's out there, I've done it. I ended up finding out that the temp probe on the unit is between 30 to 40 degrees off. It's reading 30 to 40 degrees hotter than it actually is. Yes the probe in the grill is clean. Bottom line is this machine is junk and has turned me away from any more Traeger products.
