I bought this grill a few weeks ago, I have been having power issues with it since. No the 5 stars is not a mistake…. Traeger customer service went far out of their way in helping me diagnose my problem and promptly shipped me out the replacement parts needed to repair it. These grills are machines and can have faults out of the box…. Such is life, but the customer service I received in resolving my issues just created a life long customer! Way to go Traeger! Thank you again!

I purchased my Woodridge grill a few weeks ago and have cooked on it four times so far. I absolutely love this wood pellet grill. Being able to control all aspects of cooking by using the Traeger app on my phone is amazing. One of the things the app does is alert me when the meat I am cooking has reached the desired internal temperature. Because of this, I can check on the status of what I am cooking from anywhere. If you purchase a Traeger grill, the wifi feature is definitely worth the money.

This grill is more of a smoker than a grill. It takes forever to heat up it takes 40 minutes to get to 425 degrees. Then once it's preheated you have to wait another 15 minutes for the grill itself to come up to temperature. So that's an hour waiting to grill. I can't get a good sear on a steak even at 500 degrees. I called Traeger twice, the second time I called they didn't even want to see how crappy it sears. "It's functioning like it's supposed to" is what they said twice. I've had two Pitboss grills and they are for more superior to the Traeger Woodridge grill. Don't waste your money

I had a competitor's grill for over 5-years but found I was always looking at Traeger, wishing I had one. I bought a Woodridge and I love it. I love the digital display, how I can turn the dial to any temperature I want or need. I love the WiFi connection and how I can control the whole cook and pre-heat process from my phone. I also love the way this grill is constructed. It's heavy and it's sturdy. The enameled finish is beautiful and the engineering is like none I've seen thus far. This is my grill that I will have till one of us is no longer able to be fixed. I love it.

I have owned many grills and smokers. The Traeger Ironwood is by far the best. The largest issue of owning a pellet grill is the maintenance. If you use it a lot and don't clean out the ash box and the grease build up it can create many issues. The design of the Ironwood makes cleaning almost fun. It is by FAR the simplistic cleaning process for any pellet fed. The Traeger also rules king for all the other very important items, temp regulation, waterproof design, superior app connectivity, durability all design, etc. My only complaint would be the probe situation. The wired probes work flawlessly. I don't like that we are restricted to a certain wireless probe that works directly with the Traeger app though. This is not a large issue, they do have a wireless option and I have not used it, but I don't want to be tied to one wireless option. I am sure they have the capability to integrate their app with other wireless probe manufacturers which could resolve this issue.

First time buying a pellet grill/smoker and couldn't be more pleased with the final product. Very easy to use and easy to assemble, though I do recommend two people put this together as putting some the parts together require an extra set of hands. It holds temp really well and I've already had a handful of smokes on it and the results are incredible. Traeger makes it so easy. Highly recommend the Woodridge.
